Many ways to Support the Life and Work Of Spring Park United

There are many ways to Give in the church to support ministries within our community and the wider world. We give of our talents and time, our hearts, and from what we have been given and earned through our labour. We all contribute to our community and are richer for it. 

Options For Giving

Due to Covid-19, there was an interruption to in-person worship service. We have adjusted the way that we receive your gifts for the life and work of the church. If you previously gave by envelope, or by offering plate, you may continue to do so via e-transfer or by mail.

E-Transfers

Spring Park United Church can now receive funds via e-Transfer. This means you can email funds directly to Spring Park United Church using your online banking. To send funds via e-Transfer:

1) Log into your online banking or mobile app.

2) Go to the E-Transfer section.

3) Send the funds to the Spring Park email address: spring.park@pei.aibn.com.

4) In the comments/description section of the e-transfer, please be sure to include:

a) your name.

b) the purpose of the funds.

c) your mailing address, if you are not a member or adherent of Spring Park United Church so that you may receive your tax receipt at year end.

Purpose of funds examples:

Weekly or Monthly Givings, indicating any designation amounts you wish to the Church General Operating Fund and/or Mission & Service

Special donation for Christmas, Easter, Church Anniversary, Thanksgiving, etc.

Purchase of Annual Gala Dinner ticket, Christmas Concert ticket, Yard Sale purchase, etc.

Please Note: No security question and answer are required as Spring Park United Church is registered with Interac Autodeposit, allowing incoming Interac e–Transfer funds to be deposited directly into our account.

Please be aware that unlike automatic bill payments, an e-transfer cannot be scheduled to regularly reoccur; you must initiate each and every e-transfer.

The advantage of e-transfers donations is that the fees charged to Spring Park United Church are minimal as compared to Paypal, Canada Helps or a credit card.

As with all donations, e-transfers will be included on your annual tax receipt generated at year end.

Cheque by mail

Cheques may be made out to Spring Park United Church. Please include an specific instructions for distribution and use in your envelope. Cheques can be mailed to:

PAr

Pre-Authorized Remittance, or PAR, allows you to support your church through an automatic monthly withdrawal from your bank account.

The United Church administers the program following the giver’s wishes—for example, you might give X amount for local church expenses and X amount for Mission & Service.
